The windshield is in!

Bruce wandered by on Saturday to borrow some money from Ed for a hot date with one of the Felix girls. He was immediately pressed into service and helped install both the front and back glass. No word on how the date went but we're pretty happy with the glass. And check out the fender. There's actually primer on it. I know, there are some wrinkles that need to be bondo-ed out. Honest, we're as surprised as you are. They looked fine to us before the paint went on!

Well, a lot of other things got primed as well:
The rear bumper...
the valence for the rear bumper...
the front fenders...
and the areas inside where we had seam sealed.

The rocker panels got a lot of attention. First they were tack-welded in, then they got a bead of seam seal, and finally a quick coat of self-etching primer. Yep, that's right. We managed to use 3 different colors of grey primer.

The gauges are in the dash, the panels are in the door, and some insulation got glued to the roof when I wasn't looking!

That hood still requires some fiddling. Kirk and Ed were hard at work on it all night. Will they get it? That looks okay, but as Mark points out, the corners are still bent. Oh yeah, that corner too... No Problem, says Ed. Hey, I'm not kidding. He really wailed on it with the Maul of Destruction.

Next on the list.... Fire suppression...
