What is our greatest fear? To be left, impotent on the salt, after failing tech. Our second greatest fear? Having the driver lose his foot when the clutch explodes. I mean, really, how would we explain it? "No! That guy NEVER had two feet. What are you talking about?" Also notice the spiffy transmission mount! Joe, Mark, Greg, and Ed spent a long time getting that motor in just the right place and at just the right angle! Here's the other side. We need to add a little piece to close the loop.

Wow! 10 degrees below zero and high winds. What do you do in weather like that? Get the hell out of it and work on a car! Check out the latest pictures of the new engine featuring the cool alterntor bracket Greg and Ed fabricated: 1, 2

Heads up! We had several to choose from and they're all different! 1, 2, 3

And finally the head gets installed... 1, 2, 3, 4 (That's Greg and Mark)

Here's some random shots around the shop:

  • A piece of conduit being turned into a spacer for the thermostat
  • The fuel pump blockoff plate that doubles as an oil return for the turbo
  • A couple of bad pictures of the bottom end of the motor 1 and 2
